Jesus called children to himself to love them and teach them. As the body of Christ, in following His example and teaching, we desire to train our children in the faith-to know the love of God and learn how and why they are to live for him.
Riverside’s Ministry to children includes:
Sunday school classes for all ages that meet each Sunday at 10:45am.
Awana: we encourage our children to attend the Awana ministry that meets in our community on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Many adults from our congregation serve as leaders in this ministry. See the weekly news on the home page for more information about this ministry.
Special Programs: our children participate in the life of the church in worship, classes and service projects. These include our annual Christmas program, Easter worship service and breakfast and working with Operation Christmas Child.
